Manage your subscription
Manage or cancel your subscription in Apple Settings. Redpen shows a Manage Subscription link in the app.
Open Apple subscription settings
Deleting Redpen or your account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Apple handles billing and may retain payment records.
When practice cannot continue
Redpen is built to recognize your speech on your iPhone, and only the transcript you review and confirm is sent to our servers to generate corrections, after your explicit consent. The app is not yet released, and we will update this page with how speech is handled in the release version. Redpen does not store audio.
If on-device speech is unavailable, use typed input. Check the transcript before sending it for an AI review.
Redpen sends your transcript to fal.ai and ByteDance Seed to generate grammar corrections and coach replies. If Seed cannot return valid JSON, Redpen may send the same transcript to NVIDIA Nemotron through fal.ai as a fallback model. Your transcript may be processed by these providers. Continue only if you agree.
If the AI coach is unavailable, try again later. AI can make mistakes; a suggested correction is not a guarantee of accuracy.
To restore an existing Apple plan, open Settings in Redpen and choose Restore purchases.
